The Journey

No, I’m not going to talk about the band which Arnel Pineda is a member of. I want to tackle my journey on being an internet marketer. Like most of you guys, I have started with no knowledge on how to make money form the internet. I was a computer instructor before I decided to pursue my life long dream of having my own business.

I was really frustrated with my job because I am getting less than the time that I’m putting in it. Aside from the pay my head is always aching from my students who are don’t care if there parents are paying for him to go to school. I know that I’m not the only one that is having these kinds of problem in teaching but I feel that this job isn’t right for me since I am a very silent person. I don’t like to shout all the time. It seems that my student noticed of my good nature and decided to take advantage of that.

Oh well, at least It is because of that I decided look for ways to make money. I don’t know that some Filipinos are really making money from blogging before I have watched an episode of Mel and Joey show that is featuring a blogger that is said to earning as much as $6,000/month. That same blogger said that an average blogger is earning as much as $300 to $7,000 a month.

After weeks of thinking about it I decided that I should get a broadband connection using my last salary which I got from the school that I am teaching in. I don’t know what to do so I am trying a lot of method such PTC and GPT sites. I also remember joining Yuwie (a social network that lets you earn by interacting with fellow members) and also Mylot which pays you by communicating with other members as well. I am also having my first blog during those days but after 6 months of writing constantly I found out that I am not an average blogger because I am only able to earn $18 from my blog.

I know that I am doing something wrong so I am asking a lot from my fellow MYloters on how they are earning money online. One of them shared that he is getting money form an online job so I decided to apply for the position and luckily I got hired. The first pay that I got from them was $3.75. I was very happy during that time and decided to look for more similar companies that would accept to do a job for them. I was able to get accepted by 5 companies. I am unlucky on one of those companies because I was laid off because they say that my English isn’t that good, they haven’t even paid me for the jobs that I did for them. I couldn’t accept it but after a few months I finally came to my senses and I told myself that if I were in the there position I would have done the same.

Now I am just working with 2 of these companies because the other 2 seldom has a job, luckily for me that I have learned about SEO. I am able to get a pr and get some job from paid-to-post sites. Right now I have 5 blogs that I am currently working with. I am not getting money form some of them but I love blogging that I think that I would like to keep on working on my blogs even though I am not earning from some of them.
